| Bob Dylan, Mmj & Wilco Concert
I went to see these three bands tonight in Cincinnati tonight, and I have to
say it was mostly a disappointing show. | 3 | | My Morning Jacket It Still Moves
My Morning Jacket was the opening band, but they were definitely the highlight of
the show. Jim James sounded amazing live. Some of the jams they got into were
really great too. Only gripe is they didn't play 'One Big Holiday. Highlights: 'Wordless
Chorus', 'Gideon', 'Steam Engine'. | 2 | | Wilco Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
Wilco was the second band to play. I had generally high expectations for them.
Sadly the setlist they played was fucking boring. Mostly sticking to their twangy
songs for the whole setlist was a bad idea. Some of Tweedy's guitar solo's were
really great. Biggest disappointment was that the only song they played from YHF
was 'War On War'. Really? No 'Jesus Etc' or 'I Am Trying To Break Your Heart'?
Highlights: 'War On War', 'Impossible Germany', 'Art Of Almost'. | 1 | | Bob Dylan Tempest
Bob Dylan was absolutely unbearable to see in concert. I understand that he is a
legend, but I have never been much of a fan of ol' Bobby. Each song he played was
not distinguishable from the last. Not to mention his voice sounded like a monster
with throat cancer. He didn't play any of his well known songs either. Crowd was
very unresponsive to any song he played and people left in droves before he
finished. Highlights: None | |

07.07.13 | Saw the Stones last night, unlike Dylan a legendary band of fossils who can still pull it off. | ExcentrifugalForz
07.07.13 | I've seen MMJ and Wilco separately before and assumed this concert was gonna be amazing. Maybe I'll skip it when they come around. |
