10.10.13 | I took choir so I could give you some tips
never sing loud what you can't sing soft
your falsetto range doesn't increase by singing in falsetto, it increases when you increase your regular range
Work around the top of your chest voice instead of the bottom of your head voice, try to increase your chest voice range and make them sound similar to each other
sing from your diaphragm duh |

@trebor. I regret not singing in choir when I was younger. I've read up on all the different voices and what not, and though it feels like I'm using the techniques properly, I need some guidance as to where I should be feeling vibrations/tightness/etc. Have looked through youtube videos, but haven't found one that breaks it down for dummies. |

also it helps to sing against a wall so you can hear yourself sing and correct your pitch. Kurt Cobain used to do it to train himself, even before he did Bleach:

10.10.13 | I've taken choir since elementary school so here's a few little tips:
For steady breath control, instead of singing the actual words try humming or using one syllable word like 'la'
When trying to project, remember to sing past the audience instead of just at them
Try resting your hand on your diaphragm while singing
Hope these help |
