It's not his field, but maybe with the right cast and a proper script (i.e. not changing a thing) it could be decent. I doubt that he could properly recreate the dark/twisted atmosphere of the original though and to be honest I've ignored all news about it. David Fincher or even Chris Nolan should have been the initial choices for that. |

10.21.13 | 25th Hour was good but it was already a great book by David Benioff. His movies are over the top usually they make a pretty strong statement even if it does take 3 hours to get there. (Most of his films are super long) I always thought he had shitty endings for the most part but that is the toughest part of writing I guess. Even the Coens suck at endings and I think most will agree their movies are pretty great normally. Personally, I really like spike for what he does and I could easily recommend Mo' Better Blues, Summer of Sam, 25th hour, Do the Right Thing, He Got Game, and one of my favorite movies of all-time, Bamboozled. |
