Fairytales and Dreams
Actually, I prefer ADV-M9 Loves ADV-M10 over Fairytales and Dreams, but unfortunately, they don't have it listed on this site. There self-titled EP is really good as well. Its sad that nobody really listens to this band anymore, but they're really good. They have a really weird sound that's unlike any band I've ever heard before. Disinformation Fix
I'd say Usurp Synapse is one of the least accessible bands I listen to, at least in my opinion. I've known about them for years, and have heard them time and again, but its only been in like the last year or so that I gained a true appreciation for these guys. The reason I think its so inaccessible is that its lo-fi, its really intense fast screamo, and theirs a lot of noise/experimental influence on all of their work. Many songs are filled with layers of noise, screaming, and chaotic instrumentals. These guys also use some great samples that really add to all their songs.
Overall they sound both dark and psychedelic. Listening to Usurp Synapse is like listening to a band of brilliant, albeit maniacal schizophrenics. I realize many people, even hardcore fans of screamo will disagree with me, but I think this discography is a timeless classic. | |
