IMO BTBAM's strongest release, this album is completely breathtaking. I think it's their most eclectic album, without straying into eclectic-ness for the sake of (*cough* COLORS *cough*). The only complaint I have with it is the infamous "Roboturner", which I can enjoy sometimes... but most days it just annoys the crap out of me. | | 2 |  | The Arcade Fire

After hearing the second half of this compilation, I have come to the conclusion that this is one of the most important works of modern music. I know many people regard it as overrated and overhyped, but I think it's much less overrated than Vheissu, which was great but not amazing. I'm SO close to rating it classic... | |

04.15.08 | I had 3 at a 5 for the longest time, but lowered it to a 4.5 a few months ago. But I agree with you, it does seem too good for a 4.5.

The only thing keeping Alaska from a 5 for me is the lack of creativity in some of the songs. There are sparks of absolute genius everywhere, but I can't sit through 3 or 4 minutes of straight growling and low string abuse all the time. | Chewie
