Top 10 Artists / Albums

Well, it's been a while. I bet all none of you missed me. Anyways, I figured I'd make a list...because I'm bored after working this morning. My top 10 artists accompanied with what I believe to be their best album. Feel free to share yours, too.
1Shinedown
Leave A Whisper

Been my favorite band for years, I know they are really just generic radio rock with an incredible vocalist, but that's enough for me. Every song hits me hard and I can't not put them as number 1. Last album was a bit of a disappointment but I'm hoping they turn around and go back to the grunge/heavy style.
2Circa Survive
Blue Sky Noise

I first heard this band last year, and I didn't think much of them. I got On Letting Go and listened to it a few times unimpressed. After a few more listens I wanted to hear what their other albums sound like. They are all so consistently well made and produced it's hard not to respect them as much as I do. I heard Blue Sky Noise and was blown away, as I am to this day everything I put that album on.
3Alter Bridge
Blackbird

I heard Open Your Eyes a long time ago, and loved it so much. Who was I to know that that would wind up being one of their weaker songs on one of their weaker albums. This band grows more powerful with every release. Fortress was outstanding, but Blackbird wasn't forgotten.
4Godspeed You! Black Emperor
F#A# (Infinity)

This band gives me chills, in the best way and the worst way. If you've never experienced this band, you're definitely missing out. Lift Your Skinny Fists was a highlight of my year last year, when I had first started getting in to the band after Allelujah! was released. Then I started listening to Infinity more and more, and it just takes me away. It truly is perfect. It's eerily beautiful, a masterpiece in every sense of the word.
5Brand New
The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me

Ah, Brand New. The first song I ever heard by this band on my own was Sowing Season. Thanks Guitar Hero. Never thought much after that, even though I love that song, I was just stupid back then and never was an album guy. I can't describe the emotions that a human being feels when listening to this album. It is just, so powerful it brings me to my knees. Everybody I have listened to this album with feels the same way.
6Valencia
We All Need A Reason To Believe

Pop Punk! I got this album back in 2009 and loved it. I love it to this day. At 38 minutes in length, it's a quick jam. But a damn good one. It has every aspect of generic pop punk, but with every song showing more and more emotion. The pain in the vocalist's voice shines through, and the joy he had felt at times in his life. This album holds more sentimental value to me than any other one, making it a shoe-in for my list.
7Pink Floyd
Wish You Were Here

No words need to be said about this album other than immaculate. It brings up emotions you didn't even know you had and it swells up in you and before you know it it;s over. And you hit repeat. At least, I do. This album never gets old. Ever since I got it. It was a hard pick between this and Dark Side of the Moon, but I had to go with perfection, and that accompanies this.
8Kingsfoil
A Beating Heart Is a Bleeding Heart

I heard this band at a Panic! At The Disco concert. Never heard of them before. But they came on, and the mood they captured with their set was amazing, It was so calm, but at the same time wild. I felt like I was in a daze watching them, and each song they played just drew me in more, it was so smooth and the setting was perfect. I got home and bought their two albums. Which are both just about even with each other, With each listen I discover more about the songs and more about the lyrics and the emotion that it brings. I really suggest that you look up this band, they are quite unknown but it shouldn't be that way. Similar to Anberlin and Coldplay.
9Rise Against
The Sufferer and The Witness

Powerful stuff right here. This band hits every part of you with full force, and this album is for sure no exception. Every song just flows, and have such a powerful meaning and the way it presents itself is just beautiful. I can listen to this album every day and never love it less.
10Panic! At The Disco
Vices & Virtues

Ah gosh. If I'm not already getting flak for this list, I will now. But, oh well. This band is amazing. Sure, some of their songs may sound similar and a lot may not like them. But God damn it's poetry. Every song is amazing, and I've never been so...impressed with lyricism in my life. That may be stupid to say but with every listen to a Panic! song I just hear new things. It was incredibly difficult picking a "best" album from this group, but. I went with this one. They are all stunning, and I don't really care what people think, Panic! At The Disco is a great band.
