05.01.08 | #3..."Lost And Gone Forever." Stevie Ray Vaughn is cool, as well.
You might like Transplants. |

05.01.08 | yeah, check out the latest stuff by #2 first... then delve into their older stuff afterwards, it's equally great. |

05.01.08 | Some people find Yoshimi by the Lips boring but I doubt you will. That or Soft Bulletin would be good starting points. |

05.01.08 | actually my favourite The Flaming Lips album was their latest one, "At War With the Mystics". I was pretty disapointed by "The Soft Bulletin", tbh.

05.01.08 | ah, and recommendations: I've just looked at your ratings and here are a few bands I strongly recommend.
Mahavishnu Orchestra (Inner Mounting Flame, Birds of Fire): jazz-rock, the most virtuosic band ever
The Kinks: The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society should be perfect for you I guess.
The United States of America: one of the greatest psychedelic bands ever, very experimental (and early on, their only album was released 1968)
King Crimson: you don't have rated "Red" yet, and I guess you'll like it. quite different from In the court of... btw.
Yes: Relayer and Close to the Edge are both genius.

05.01.08 | Stevie Ray Vaughn is the best on the list, that would be a good investment.
Honestly dubster, get some Iron Maiden. Not even kidding. |

05.01.08 | Bf....why? |

05.02.08 | Because I heard you saying you wanted to try getting into heavier music and you started with Blackwater Park, and I called it that it wasn't a good starting point. I really think if you got an album by Maiden, which is classic metal (no screams, easy listening), youd expand your musical horizons tremendously!
I was also going to recommend O.A.R., but I checked out your ratings and you already listen to them... seen them live twice yo. |
