Listened to it again after seeing the music video for Mountaintop. Not exactly my
cup of tea, but it's still a good album - Devy is still brilliant though, and I'm seriously

Distant Satellites
Haven't heard too much from these guys, only Weather Systems. The new album is a bit
hit and miss for me - I find myself skipping through songs like 'Ariel' to get to better
songs like 'The Lost Song Pt 3'. Loving the heavier use of electronic whatsits on this

Lifeforms
I've been digging ambient/electronic stuff a lot recently. Kinda fell off the Bjork
train and fell back into TFSoL - it's more background music for me, so being the
plebian I am, I can't really differentiate between songs easily. Still, I dig all of it.

A Tower of Silence
About two weeks ago, Anubis' three LPs hit my welcome mat. In case you haven't
guessed, I have serious love for these guys music. A Tower of Silence and 230503
appeared on far too many of my lists for me to write anything original about them - go
through my previous lists if you want to read more about them. Favourite Track: The

Hitchhiking to Byzantium
This album. Oh my God, this album. I'll keep this brief since I already wrote a long-ass review about it, but
honestly this has become one of my favourite albums ever, and that isn't just the hype talking. You'd think I'd
be sick of it, the amount of times I've listened to it, but I haven't grown tired of it one bit. There's a stream
of the album linked in the comments of my review, I seriously recommend you check it out. Favourite Track:

06.17.14 | Awesome stuff as always br0. My Anubis CDs STILL HAVEN'T ARRIVED and it's killing me, I'm waiting till they do to relisten to HtB so I get the highest quality on me hifi system. As for Anathema, you DEFINITELY need to listen to We're Here Because We're Here, it's much better than DS or WS, probably my 2nd favourite album ever under Solterra - Umbra. Check that one too!
Distant Satellites is definitely hit or miss, agreed. TLS part 3, 'Anathema' and the t/t are definitely my favourites, they don't have too much cheesy lyrics | JJKeys
06.17.14 | They still haven't arrived?! You might have to contact either them or B.R.R. about that - its far too long a delay. And I'll add it to the list, I've got a hell of a lot of bands I need to check out as well, so it might not be for a while. DS is good, but not mind-blowingly good | Mad.

Yeah I think Sputnik's overrating it a bit at the moment, the average will probably drop over time |
