Just been thinking about what to review next... I should have my next review out either this weekend or early next week. | 1 | | Aeternus ...And So The Night Became
4-4.5. Dark Metal from Norway. Really interesting in the way it's played and presented, its a cross between black metal of the early 90's, death metal, and viking metal. Interesting to say the least. | 2 | | Borknagar Borknagar
4. Awesome folk black metal brought to you by none other than Garm (of Ulver). The influences from Ulver are noticeably strong, but this album is also more folk-oriented and melodic than anything Ulver did in their black metal period. Plus, Garm is one badass vocalist. | 3 | | Drudkh Forgotten Legends
3.5-4. A good folk black metal album which has it's moments, but can seriously drag on for a while. Not as good as "Blood In Our Wells" but still a great look into this bands interesting discography. | 4 | | Graveland The Celtic Winter
3.5-4. Great black metal from Poland, also known as the guy who takes the most embarrassing band photos ever. If you don't believe me, google image search this band. The music itself is very good, with the usual harsh black metal tinged with some interesting folk melodies. | 5 | | Nyktalgia Nyktalgia
3.5. A completely blatant, obvious Burzum ripoff from Germany who manages to get the closest to "Hvis Lyset Tar Oss" than any other band I've heard. Everything from the production to the drumming to the vocal delivery screams Burzum. Even so, this is a very good adaptation of Varg Vikernes' music. | |

05.14.08 | Bodom- No, I've only heard their first two albums "Beyond The Wandering Moon" and "... And So The Night Became". "Beyond The Wandering Moon" is absolutely amazing and has awesome cover art as well. | Bfhurricane
