04.27.15 | And those throwbacks to their other songs... holy shit this is the balls! |
DatsNotDaMetulz
04.27.15 | I did make a news article earlier. It'll probably take 3 days to show up like my last article did. |
owen
04.27.15 | "Elektra" and "366" were produced and co-written by Shellback, the Swedish pop superproducer who has worked on countless massive hits by Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, Pink, and others. |
FacelessMan
04.27.15 | fuck yeaaa |
JohnnyoftheWell
04.27.15 | 6/10 song, overrated band. |
L4titudes
04.27.15 | chorus was a bit generic sounding but other than that it was cool |

04.27.15 | dennis' screams tore me a new arsehole |
IronGiant
04.27.15 | song and band are overrated into the ground |
JohnnyoftheWell
04.27.15 | They're really not dude. I respect these guys' influence and vision a good deal, but the praise that has been stamped onto them is obscene. |
L4titudes
04.27.15 | well, that's just like, your opinion, man |
Comatorium.
04.27.15 | I mean they released a seminal album and then broke up. The COS article that goes with it pretty much sums up pretty well. I loved the new song. And of course the vocals are gonna be different, he's 20 years older. |
Spec
04.27.15 | New song is tight. |
titanslayer
04.27.15 | This was pretty cool actually |
Comatorium.
04.27.15 | Spec coming in with the rationale. Song IS fucking tight. |
Spec
04.27.15 | Anyone saying the band is overrated is dumb. Simple as that. |
JohnnyoftheWell
04.27.15 | Yes, dear. |
Comatorium.
04.27.15 | Pretty much, their legacy has been what it is for well over a decade. You think the shape of punk to come is over rated? Okay, that's fine, I'm wrong sometimes too. |
Comatorium.
04.27.15 | It'd be like seeing elton john and getting pissed that tiny dancer doesn't sound like it's being sung by a 25 year old. I love the vocals on this track. |
deathschool
04.27.15 | Bad comparison |
BMDrummer
04.27.15 | don't understand what people don't dig about the vox |
JohnnyoftheWell
04.27.15 | Like I said, I respect their legacy and influence and won't deny either of them. The ideas behind TSOPTC are all great, but it's an overambitious album; a lot of its composition isn't tight enough, the production is slightly off, it has an irritating sense of self-worth that it fails to live up to, and it comes across like it's trying to do everything at once whilst only hitting the mark occasionally. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely a good album and I enjoy it to a certain extent, but I find it hard to consider Refused as a band that have had such a massive amount of praise and influence attached to them and not describe them as overrated. I would much prefer to be wrong and enjoy the hell out of them, but I just can't lie to myself and pretend that TSOPTC is more than a failed masterpiece. |
SaneTBP
04.27.15 | Pretty sweet tbh, hope the other tracks on the album are more experimental/varied though, a full lenght of songs as straightforward as this would get boring.. |
Funeralopolis
04.27.15 | song was mediocre just like everything else the band has done |
CK
04.27.15 | ouch |
