| Recent CD Purchases/Last.fm Scrobble/Computer help
I found some gems in an old record store in Gloucester, MA in Cape Ann called Mystery Train during a day trip with my family. I tried checking out a few sput essentials, hopefully they'll click for me. Also if anyone knows about last.fm, I reformatted my hard drive for my Mac and it's no longer scrobbling for my iPhone. Spotify (free) has also been acting up for me, it won't play anymore even though songs will show the green bar. I recently had to reinstall and update the apps on computer and iPhone, they all went fine but might be causing this. Anyone who's had these problems know of any solutions? Shoutbox me or comment any responses, thanks. | 1 | | Glassjaw Worship and Tribute
I was immediately struck by the album art, it basically simulates a turntable with a record in a clever way. I'm excited to try this one, not big on hardcore but I'm pretty sure this is considered one of the best of the genre. | 2 | | Godspeed You! Black Emperor Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven
One of my favorite recent discoveries, obviously due to this site. I was very pleasantly surprised to find this one and am excited to finally own it, as versions of this to download are very hard to come by. | 3 | | Interpol Turn on the Bright Lights
One of my favorite indie/post-punk albums, this was essential. | 4 | | Interpol Antics
Not quite as good as the debut but still very solid, couldn't pass it up. | 5 | | Isis Panopticon
Happy to stumble on this one, the album art is beautiful and can be folded out to uncover an expanded bird's eye view of a landscape. There are a few philosophical quotes within. I also found a Not in Rivers, But in Drops single which included remixes, and a very cool album cover that I can't even describe. | 6 | | Jimmy Eat World Futures
Haven't heard much of this, but liked it and realized that there was another side to this band not in their pop hits played on the radio. | 7 | | Lush Spooky
There were 5-10 Lush albums in the L section, which was surprising as I had thought they were a pretty rare band. | 8 | | Minus the Bear Highly Refined Pirates
My rip of this was corrupted, so lucky find. | 9 | | My Morning Jacket Z
Lay Low is the best song ever. | |

05.22.15 | Spotifys been okay all day. I don't think last.fm scrobbling is working for my phone even though the app opens fine and everything. Not a huge deal, it'd just be nice to know why it's happening and how to fix it. | beefshoes

8 and Planet of Ice are such nostalgic summer albums. | TalonsOfFire
