Have you heard of The McGarrigles? Do you like Canadian folk sister duos who also sing in French? Kate, who passed away in 2010, was Rufus and Martha Wainwright's mother. They wrote songs for Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt, many of which they also recorded ("Heart Like a Wheel?" That was them). Check them out, they deserve some attention.
