If it takes 4 years to get a grasp on something, chances are it's complicated (or ur dum). Medicine, law, physics, etc are all incredibly complex as well

TheSonomaDude 10.02.15	Tbf, OU is just south of OKC, which is like the 16th biggest city in the country, meaning there's a lot to do. OSU is in Stillwater which yah is basically out in the middle of nowhere, but it's an extremely wealthy community in driving distance to Tulsa. Also, OSU is a fucking massive university, one of the biggest in the nation.

TheSonomaDude 10.02.15	Never even been to the state of Iowa but I think Iowa City has at least 40,000 or something. Idk I'd never wanna go there. At least Stillwater OK is wealthy and the campus is fucking gorgeous and state-of-the-art. I'm at SHSU in Hunstville TX, and the town's got about 40,000 people. Other than being the home town of Sam Houston (and you can see his house and gravesite and shit) and the state federal penitentiary/national death penalty center, it's a hideous town with not much to do and the worst road systems I've ever seen in my entire life.

I'm completing my 4th year right now and, although it definitely gets tricky at times, I wouldn't say it's super ridiculously complex. But I've been studying it for years and have an interest. I'm sure someone who is in chemistry would tell me the same thing as I gawk at his formulas. I can definitely see why it appears boring but there's a lot more planning and thought that goes into it than just the "mindless calculations" people assume. You understand what happens behind these faceless companies a lot more and learn the extent of which numbers and estimations can be played with to reflect certain images.

JWT155 10.02.15	I mean, I think back to my days in College and all my favorite memories aren't when we went to that one show, or that professional sporting event or did something cool in the city, all of my favorite memories are just a bunch of college kids doing stupid shit with other college kids. You'll have plenty of time and money to be cultural and do fun things in the city later in life, I wouldn't trade anything for the shit I did in the middle of nowhere in State College with my college buddies.

BeyondCosby 10.02.15	I do have to say though, coming from a sweet college town to a place where the bars close at 12, there is something to be said about a happening scene. I have to drive at least three hours to get to a good concert venue. The last band that came to this town that was even remotely modern was Saliva. I'll just let that sink in...
beefshoes 10.02.15	I major in Philosophy and Political Science, and I recently picked up a minor in French since I only need three more classes to get it. Also, I work on my campus as a Philosophy TA (no pay) and as a Philosophy/Geology tutor (minimum wage).

And also minor in journalism I want to work with like the technical side of TV/Film making but screenwriting and maybe writing a few graphic novels also sounds equally cool
