Nu Metal Albums that Rule

Admittedly, I was in my middle school / high school years for the height of nu-metal. I'm not ashamed. I've always maintained that there are good things about it, but like any other genre (glam / metalcore / deathcore) a good thing can be ruined pretty quickly. If you were ever into metal, check em out. EDIT - I tried to name some that people tend to ignore. Added a couple more that came to mind as I read comments.
1Pulse Ultra
Headspace

A masterpiece. Dominic Cifarelli was a mastermind (check him out in Chronicles of Israfel as well). A true alt-metal masterpiece in my mind. Maybe one song on here I don't love. Heavy, chaotic at times, and beautiful at others. "Never the Culprit" "Put it Off" "Build Your Cages" are standouts for me.
2Mudvayne
L.D. 50

Don't think I need to try to sell anyone on this. Can't believe how far this band fell.
3Nonpoint
Statement

I find To the Pain to be their best album (I was a massive NP fan for years), but this one is actually nu-metal. Just a killer, killer album. Super aggressive, outstanding vocals, catchy jams, hard hitting drums. "Mindtrip" (just one of a kind), "Levels" and "Endure" rule so hard.
436 Crazyfists
A Snow Capped Romance

These guys bridge the gap between metalcore and nu-metal as their career goes on, but there is some serious power in many of these songs. "Bloodwork" is a standout for the genre. "Destroy the Map", "The Heart and the Shape" has to be one of my all time favorites though.
5Spineshank
Self Destructive Pattern

Really there are three or four excellent songs on here, the other can be mostly ignored. Track 2 man. Fucking intense. Thats what these dudes were all about. Killer live band, I'd go again.
6Depswa
Two Angels and a Dream

Excellent vocalist, some great riffs. "From the Inside" "this time" "Needles"

Its dumb. I know. But it was really hard for me not to bang my head to some of these.
8Stereomud
Perfect Self

Catchy hits.
9Boy Hits Car
Boy Hits Car

Fucking killer catchy lovecore.
10The Apex Theory
Topsy-Turvy

Just so good and so unique.
11Sevendust
Animosity

Most popular album on the list, but SO OVERLOOKED.
1210 Years
The Autumn Effect

chill jams.
13Bloodsimple
A Cruel World

I always liked it.
14Evanescence
Evanescence

Don't judge. So much better than you think. Every other album they released is trash, this one cuts the goth and just jams.
15Thirty Seconds to Mars
30 Seconds to Mars

People don't realize how cool they were once.
16Static-X
Machine

I always preferred this over Wisconsin.
17Reveille
Bleed the Sky

Dumb, like, real dumb. A couple really great songs on here ( the long ballady track name escapes me). Like a stupid Rage against the Machine with far less style.
18Hotwire
The Routine
