Counting the minutes

As a teacher, the end of the year teacher work day is so exciting, School is done, nothing left to do but count the time. So I thought a list of the best rec's I have received from this site might help pass the time.
1Lucifer's Friend
Banquet

I was very familiar with other LF releases, however this one escaped me. One listen and it vaulted to the top of the LF play list
2Can
Monster Movie

This band is right up my alley, and although this is not their best, it is my fave, The Mary, Mary quite contrary, kicks ass
3Camel
Moonmadness

Another one that falls into the where have I been category, love prog, never got around to getting into them, this is my fave from the 4 I have listened.
4Primus
Frizzle Fry

listened and did not like these guys back in the day, but a fresh listen changed that.
5Fu Manchu
The Action is Go

Alsways thought they were a skater band, mianly due to their covers, but after reading some reviews, thought they might be worth a listen, This release started the journey to listen to them all
6The Kinks
The Village Green Preservation Society EP

Heard all the hits on the radio but did not listen to an album, was missing out, they made "albums" not just collections of good pop songs.
