Acts I've Seen Live - Ranked
Title says it all. Album shown is their latest release when I saw them |
1 | | Sufjan Stevens Carrie and Lowell
Eau Claire, WI- 2015 • Absolutely phenomenal. Even without the over-the-top theatrics like the age of adz tour, Sufjan blew me away. One of my top 5 artists and the setlist was everything i could have wanted. Amazing. |
2 | | mewithoutYou Pale Horses
Milwaukee, 2016 • My favorite band, my first time seeing them, got to meet 3/5 of the band after and get my stuff signed including a ltd ed single. Great experience. |
3 | | mewithoutYou Pale Horses
Madison, 2016 • tied for 2nd. this was a better overall show, seeing them play cuts from A-B Life was great, and i was within arms reach of Aaron. They never dissappoint |
4 | | The Oh Hellos Dear Wormwood
Madison, 2015 • Didnt expect this to be so great. The most energy i've ever seen in a band. The violin player jumped off a balcony into the crowd and the show ended with half the band coming out into the crowd, instruments and all, and leading a sing along. |
5 | | Twin Peaks Down in Heaven
Madison, 2016 • not my favorite act but easily the most fun i've had at a show. Unlikely moshing and dancing with a number of beautiful ladies made it quite memorable |
6 | | The National Trouble Will Find Me
Eau Claire, 2015 • One of my personal favorites. Matt being trashed and my aching feet made it less than great but guest collabs from Justin Vernon, Sufjan Stevens, and an awesome acoustic Vanderlye Crybaby singalong was awesome |
7 | | Melvins Basses Loaded
Eau Claire, 2016 • Didn't know a single song when i saw them but this show was ridiculously fun. They have such a commanding presence. |
8 | | Bon Iver 22, A Million
Eau Claire, 2016 • Bon debuted the new album at this show, and i got to stand pretty close. It was a cool atmosphere but the music itself is subpar imo |
9 | | Thrice Major/Minor
Milwaukee, 2012 • My first concert. This show was great and really influential in my music tastes. |
10 | | The Tallest Man on Earth Dark Bird Is Home
Eau Claire, 2015 • great set, high energy performance. Nothing mind blowing but just good solid folk music on a warm summer day. |
11 | | Bon Iver Bon Iver, Bon Iver
Eau Claire, 2015 • I was pretty far away from the stage and my legs were killing me from standing all day and being dehydrated. Still a good show, but i wasnt quite fully present. |
12 | | Car Seat Headrest Teens of Denial
Green Bay, 2016 • Awesome show in my hometown and a really small and unexpected venue. |
13 | | Teen Suicide It's the Big Joyous Celebration.. |
14 | | Deafheaven New Bermuda |
15 | | Spoon They Want My Soul
lol boring |
16 | | S. Carey Supermoon |
17 | | The Staves If I Was |
18 | | Phosphorescent Muchacho |
19 | | Beach House Thank Your Lucky Stars
Eau Claire, 2016 • totally forgot i saw them... this show was great. Loud as fuck, an amazing atmosphere, and a band that sounds so much better live than in studio. they'd probably fit in my ranking around 5-6. idk |
20 | | Relient K Mmhmm |
21 | | Underoath Disambiguation
