Dewinged
11.19.16 | Man if I ever accumulate this much I dont think I'd be able to check them all. Some gems in here though. |

11.19.16 | The Cranberries, cracker, and The Gin Blossoms are the kind of bands greatest hits albums were made for--there are no deep cuts--Dylan and Bowie, on the other hand... |
Dylan620
11.19.16 | @Sint To be fair, some of these albums are ones that I feel obligated to check out either for the sake of discography completion, or because I've had CD copies sitting around for years that I haven't gotten around to spinning yet.
@Dewinged That's part of the beauty of it though, there's a ridiculous amount of music out there to explore. It's why I'm accepting recs with open arms even though my list of albums to check is over 200 items long.
@Twig I hear you on Gin Blossoms, the one deep cut I've heard on that one was dull and repetitive. Cracker's a different story, my dad's a fan and I remember quite liking the majority of what he's played for me (as in full albums, not just select singles). And the one deep cut I've heard from the Cranberries ("Everything I Said" from No Need to Argue) is a beaut imo.
Bowie's discography is one that I've been meaning to delve deeper into ever since his passing, already in love with Blackstar and Low. As for Dylan, I was named after the man and I adore Blood on the Tracks so it's kind of criminal that I haven't explored his discography beyond that album yet haha |

11.19.16 | i could save you a shit load of time by telling you which 60 of these you sure don't need to check |

11.19.16 | trippy to see my homies band holicus on here tho |
VaxXi
11.19.16 | make sure to hear 62 |
Dylan620
11.19.16 | @Pots I'd rather hear which ones you think should be higher on my priority list tbh. I plan on checking out all of these eventually (say within the next year or so) but I'm open to delaying some albums in favor of others. Holicus were mentioned on a Sput list advertising Bandcamp name-your-own-price downloads a while back, downloaded both of the two albums mentioned but haven't gotten around to spinning them just yet. Interesting to hear you have a friend in the band.
@VaxXi 62 is one of the higher ones on my priority list actually, will make sure to check sometime within the next few days or so |

11.19.16 | @Doof Deserter's is near the top of my list, Yerself is currently the only Mercury Rev album I've heard but it's a stunning piece of work.
@Dan Thanks dude! |

11.20.16 | Didn't even notice the dylan/dylan thing, nice . . . The search is half the fun right? Hopefully you'll find something in those albums that I didn't. |
Dylan620
11.20.16 | @Twig Agreed there, music is such a boundless world. And yeah, hopefully; even if I end up disliking those albums on the whole, I already like at least one song from each, so at least there's that |
Lord(e)Po)))ts
11.20.16 | prioritize Somethin' Else, The Mantle, Jar of FLies, Hex, The Rise and Fall, A Love Supreme, No Need to Argue, Satori, Antidotes, Hung At Heart, Both Holicus albs cuz friends, and Welcome to Sky Valley, |
