01.31.17 | And he collaborated with and supported many other bands/musicians. R.I.P. John Wetton. As you can see, he more than earned the rest. | Trebor.

01.31.17 | wtf he died today?
First Greg Lake now Wetton, fuck off with taking away King Crimson's bassists. | SandwichBubble
01.31.17 | Not big on Asia, but prolific artist. Rest easy.
Also, comforting to know that I'm not the only one who's having trouble adding artists to the site right now. | danielito19

01.31.17 | List rules. I own a copy of 11, and never noticed that Wetton were a part of it.
I recently learned that he played for that Renaissance album.
2, 3, 4, 5, 9 and 10 are some other albums that I know/enjoy.
RIP

02.01.17 | RIP hard. The man did a lot of good for the music world.
He was also part of the band Family, which was an important influence on Genesis. He played bass on Larry Norman's classic "I Wish We'd All Been Ready."
Of course, he co-wrote and sang the greatest song ever, "Starless." | Jethro42
02.01.17 | Wetton also plays ''Starless'' with the Hongarian symphonic prog band After Crying on their live album Struggle for Life.

02.01.17 | I prefer by far the original version, but still, it's somehow a great rendition. I wish Bruford was there ;) | Titan

02.01.17 | Wetton was everywhere in the 70s. He was so good. Glad to see he hasn't been forgotten. | e210013
02.08.17 | This is a very interesting list. I knew that John Wetton collaborated and supported many other bands and artists. But only when we see these 11 albums together we can really see the importance and the imprint of his work in the world of music. I didn't knew that he participated on the albums of The Buggles and Renaissance. And as Jethro I also have a copy, a vinyl copy, of the album of Peter Banks, but I had forget that he had participated on it.
Nice work Divaman.
RIP hard John. | TheIntruder
02.08.17 | Interesting and impressive list. I never knew he joined Renaissance too. A prog pioneer that we never must forget.
RIP | sputnik1
02.08.17 | That sucks! Enjoyed his work, especially in UK. R.I.P. | Snowdog808
02.09.17 | This is so sad :(. He was such an essential figure in prog and experimental music as a whole. RIP John, you will be remembered for generations. |
