Albums I Gots ta Get

Pretty self-explanatory. Been a while since I visited my local record shop, so here's what I'm on the hunt to acquire.
1The Menzingers
After The Party

Been jamming Impossible Past and Rented World a bunch lately, definitely looking forward to this bad boy.
2Oathbreaker
Rheia

Took me a while to get into Eros/Anteros, but that record grew on me quite a bit, and what I've listened to from this sounds (to me, at least) even better.
3Tycho
Epoch

Guys don't get nearly enough attention, in my opinion.
4Souvenirs
Posture of Apology

Tired of Defending You has gotten pretty steady rotation from me, and I actually just listened to You, Fear, and Me, so the timing on this couldn't be better, really.
5Sinai Vessel
Brokenlegged

Another undersung band, in my opinion. Profanity is amazing.
6William Basinski
A Shadow in Time

Not everybody's cup of tea, understandably, and even I've gotta be in the right frame of mind (or, y'know, lying down in bed) to fully appreciate this, but this seems to be some prime, melancholy, sad-as-shit decaying loops.
7Blackfield
Blackfield V

These guys (and, temporarily, basically just guy, singular) certainly fell off big time in the back-half of their discography so far, but early reports have this being a lot more in the vein of the collaborative efforts of their debut and II, which has got me cautiously intrigued.
8Japandroids
Near To The Wild Heart Of Life

Honestly forgot about these guys until reports were surfacing late last year about their half-decade-later follow-up to Celebration Rock. Still, if it captures the energy of that record, it will have been worth the wait.
9Dryjacket
For Posterity

Their debut EP is a fun--if slight--effort, but they showed a lot of potential that I'm hoping is more thoroughly realized here. Also, just got tickets to see them opening for Aaron West and the Roaring Twenties, which should be a pretty sweet show, regardless.
10Sampha
Process

This came out of the blue, but if Sputnik's own instructions are to be believed, I should stop overthinking it and "Just buy it!"
