One is better than the other

I've listened to both of these and can't understand why one is critically praised and the other has been slammed. IMO, the production on Forever is better, but I don't know that it's a better record overall. It's not as original as everyone seems to think. And those abrupt, awkward transitions are awful. The Suicide Silence album isn't without its flaws either. Yes there are some nu metal influences and Eddie does his best Chino impression, and Conformity is a write off. But is it really that much worse than the Code Orange album? I don't get it. I'd like to get some opinions on both albums. Compare and contrast. Why is one being hailled as the "future of metalcore", while the other has been called "one of the worst albums of all time"?
