04.21.17 | I have 1's split with man is the bastard. It's shaped like a puddle or something which is pretty unique |
Satellite
04.21.17 | i inherited a bunch of classics from my long-deceased uncle a few years back. some of them are too warped to play from decades of sitting in a basement, but reading the liner notes of an original beatles pressing is still pretty awesome. |
Spluger
04.21.17 | I don't have it but there's a Weekend Nachos 10" that is shaped like a nacho. http://www.popsike.com/pix/20110408/110672528895.jpg
I did recently manage to snag a copy of the "final show" edition of their first album "Punish and Destroy" though. Only 30 copies were made.

04.21.17 | Underoath - Lost in The Sound Of Separation
It's special edition with a shit ton of bonus goodies, but the coolest part is that records are shaped like saw blades.

04.21.17 | I don't have anything way cool.
I have picture disc 12" of Sublimes S/T and 40 OZ to Freedom. They are cool, but they didn't come with cool packaging. They literally came in a thick, clear plastic sleeve and that's it.
I did get a flexi disc single from Decibel Magazine for Panopticon's Sheep in Wolve's Clothing- not rare by any means, but the only flexi disc I own. |
Grimlin
04.21.17 | I used to own a Kilslug record that was 11" and played from the inside out. It had a locked groove at the edge to prevent it from hopping off. Also, the jacket was faux-leather with gold foil artwork that was sort of coming off when touched. The music didn't end up appealing to me at the time so I sold it. |
Spluger
04.21.17 | Shit that reminds me, I have a copy of Joyce Manor's self titled record with the cover image etched onto one side. It's hard to get a good picture of but it looks pretty fuckkin awesome. |

04.22.17 | I got a pretty cool ep by a pregnant light recently that was a square piece of clear perspex. I've got a few random and obscure black metal vinyl that are pretty rare, but in terms of stuff thats different i don't have many that spring to mind other than the persepx ep |
hobblepot
04.22.17 | pretty much all my Dance Gavin Dance records are super rare, especially my pressings of Happiness which are ridiculously difficult to find nowadays, to the point none of the band themselves even own a copy |

04.22.17 | Most unique is probably the These Arms Are Snakes and Harkoneen split. It's clear with a felt etching on one side. |
GhettoHmbrglr
04.23.17 | today is the day's 'willpower' on clear vinyl. limited varient only 100 pressed and not sold to the public. i bought it from steve himself. |
elliootsmeuth
04.23.17 | Happy Body Slow Brain - Dreams of Water
It's a double LP that plays at a 45 speed, which isn't that unique. What is is the fact the sleeve is plastic and is filled water. It's like a waterbed, but for vinyl. Funny that this list is featured; making a list of all my records at the moment. |
elliootsmeuth
04.23.17 | Oh shit, Calc, you got the same record lmao. Should've read the comments first, now I'm not so unique :( |
Papa Universe
04.24.17 | I've got a unique one. It's a copy of the Beatles' Help, but it has the Side A pressed on both sides. It's a messed up version or something. |
Frisbee
05.01.17 | Got a Totally Unicorn record that's shaped like a dick |
butcherboy
05.01.17 | I own a Jimi Hendrix Are you Experienced pirate bootleg with a spelling error that I bought at a market in a Russia when I was a kid.. It says the Jimi Bendrix Experience in big purple letters.. |

05.01.17 | Probably a copy of Vi Som Älskade Varandra Så Mycket's 'Den Sorgligaste Musiken i Världen'. It's not unique as such, but as the vocalist handed it to me in person I consider it pretty special to me.
Failing that, the transparent 'starry' Seizure's 'The Sanity Universal' would be it |
Lord(e)Po)))ts
05.01.17 | Mezzanine by Massive Attack original press
first press Amnesiac and Kid A

05.01.17 | did not realize they had period releases for the Radioheads Lordepots? |
Lavair
05.05.17 | Pretty sure this doesn't count. But I own Movement by Holly Herndon on vinyl. The appearance and shape of the record is fine, but it's so damn loud, I can hear it just fine without any speakers. The sound of the needle on the record is soooo loud. |
Claystation
05.05.17 | I've got an Avalanches pressing of Since I Left You that looks like a normal blue record, but because of the lacing on it looks like the album artwork when you shine a light through it |
Lavair
05.05.17 | That's so cool. The material of vinyl itself is a platform for art, and I love it when people use it to infuse more styles of artwork into their albums.
I have a record that literally disappeared from my collection. It is my 2016 AOTY, the s/t Niechec record. It was on my shelf with all my other records, and it had never left my bedroom. A few weeks ago, I noticed it was literally just gone. I don't remember moving it anywhere. And it's nowhere near the shelf. It scares me a little bit.
None of my other records are that interesting. I have a horrible repressing of In Rainbows where the lyrics for Jigsaw are printed twice. I have an original pressing of Johnny Cash - At Folsom Prison that I inherited from my grandfather. My copy of Ultimate Care II is brown with white splatter. |
Nazzadan
05.05.17 | I love my gorgeous white copy of Fallen Angel of Doom..., came with a nice poster of the band.
I just got a new copy of Seven Churches that has an insanely clean sleeve, that's up there with my favorites in my small collection. |
