Have Blink 182 really pulled out of their slot at Roskilde?? I mean is it official? Absolutely devastated like my main reason for going but I'm really starting to lose respect for them, when Tom and mark split it was like my parents getting divorced. I felt forced to choose a side so I shared my time with their side projects equally and both had their pros and cons. Tom being an absolute insane narcissist pissed me off no end with his lack of respect and time for the band that made him famous but I always end up forgiving him cos he is such a unique talent with some revolutionary original ideas.

Take Off Your Pants and Jacket

Then there is Mark bless him he has always put his heart and soul into blink and somehow manages to have that fresh baby face and endless amounts of genuine enthusiasm but he doesn't have the creative streak that Tom has so while his intentions are good there is something not quite right about a 50 year old bouncing around the stage singing of teenage heartbreak.

Enema of the State

When they realised California last year their first album since the underrated mess that was Neighbourhoods and there first without Tom it's was time for them to show what we're made of, and after listening the answer became straight up nothing.
California was so dull and lacking any honest spark so it became clear who was the brains behind the operation, not even Matt Skiba from seminal dark pop punks Alkaline Trio could add an iota of excitement to the proceedings.

Neighborhoods

It was pathetic the desperate use of oh oh ohs and na na na na's that smelled but the worst offender was somebody whathisface who produced the shit out of it so bad you had no idea weather it was Mark or Matt that was belting out the auto tuned and ridiculously soulless robotic vocals

California

So long story short I will not support this band anymore, I was looking forward to see what they could do live but knowing Roskilde they should have a pretty suitable replacement.....how about Green Day, Sum41, Good Charlotte or Angel and Airwaves :)
