Quest for 1000 Ratings

I've heard over 1,000 albums easily, but due to several ratings wipes, I don't even have close to that. Just for fun and in an effort to take ratings on sputnikmusic.com less seriously, I'm making a pointless goal to hit 1,000 ratings before the end of 2018. If you want to rec me an album I don't have rated, I'll do my best to jam it and not think very hard about my rating. Maybe I'll start 5'ing more things too. I think theacademy has had it right all along tbh. Oh, and if I like your rec I might add it to my list with my rating when I get around to it.

22The December Sound
The Silver Album

TheSpaceMan rec [my rating: 4/5] a truly hard to describe album. there are some warm elements typical of shoegaze, but for the most part it's a unique beast. lovely soundscapes throughout and lots of variety
23Richard Hell and The Voidoids
Blank Generation

butcherboy rec. [my rating: 4/5] his vocals remind me a bit of Mick Jagger at times, which I love. Lots of energy, another pleasant surprise
24And Also The Trees
(Listen for) the Rag and Bone Man

Papa Universe rec. [my rating: 3.5/5] I do like the atmosphere, hopefully the vocals and lyrics will grow on me more with time
25Cryptopsy
None So Vile

Clansman rec. [my ratings: 3.5/5] was never one of my favorite death metal albums, but it's a bit better than I gave it credit for. Not the holy grail of DM albums some make it out to be, but pretty damn solid
26Deftones
White Pony

Zeuzo rec. [my rating: undecided]

iglu rec. [my rating: 3.8] great indie rock album from a band I'd never heard of
36Astronauts
Hollow Ponds

ButtBoy rec [my rating: 4/5] Was not expecting this. The flutes and instrumentation in the title track would fit just fine on an atmospheric bm or dark folk album, which I love. but the atmosphere throughout the whole thing is really good, separating it from your typical "indie folk" releases. *standout tracks: title track all the way
37Brand X
Unorthodox Behaviour

Cadaver rec. (special note: I’ve been informed the username is actually Casavir but I’m officially starting a petition for his name to be changed to Cadaver. Hilarious!)
38Linda Perhacs
Parallelograms

Blush rec [my ratings: 4.3/5] This thing blew me away. She was clearly so ahead of her times - wouldn't doubt it if she influences modern artists like Marissa Nadler and Julia Holter
39Moddi
Set the House on Fire

Rigma rec
