Top 35 Glam metal albums

Hair metal is not exactly my favorite genre, well i don't think is everyone's favorite genre but it's undeniably fun to listen and it has it's moments, here the ranking of my favorite albums:
35TNT
Intuition

Melodic and catchy, if you say the title track isnt great you're lying
34Kix
Blow My Fuse

Some crazy trqcks right here, especially the first 2
33Negative
Karma Killer

A more gloomy approach to the genre
32Dokken
Tooth and Nail

One of the pioneers of the genre, Don is great here, so is Lynch
31Firehouse
Firehouse

Aside from the cover it's very good
30Ratt
Out of the Cellar

Round and round is one of my favorite song of the genre
29Mr. Big
Lean Into It

Paul Gilbert and Billy Sheehan are twi of the best musician in history, the lyrics are pretty chessy and not in a good way
28Vixen
Rev It Up

All female band, every song is worth listening
27Dangerous Toys
Dangerous Toys

Lots lf other genres contamination, truly entertaining
26Hanoi Rocks
Two Steps From The Move

Punk oriented glam metal, everything is great except for the production
25Faster Pussycat
Faster Pussycat

Pure fun
24Scorpions
Love At First Sting

This is far from being the best scorpion album, but is the one with most glam influence, awesome though.
23David Lee Roth
Eat 'em And Smile

It has a lot of genres in it, swing, country, jazzy tracks and classic rockers, great job Diamond Dave.
22L.A. Guns
Cocked & Loaded

Tracii is an awesome entertainer
21Quiet Riot
Metal Health

Well Come on feel the noize isn't the best track here, there are awesome songs like Run for cover, breathless and the amazing thunderbird
20Wrathchild (UK)
The biz suxx

So unknown that wasn't even on sputnik, awesom Punk oriented glam, very fun to listen
19Steelheart
Steelheart

Matijevich is one of the best singers in the genre
18Pink Cream 69
Pink Cream 69

One of the heaviest glam albums here
17Warrant
Dog Eat Dog

Better than the overrated Cherry pie (which is good though). Lot of experimental material for a glam album
16Bon Jovi
Slippery When Wet

Obvious choice, it's without doubt their trademark
15Extreme
Extreme

Funk combined to Glam, pretty original
14Slaughter (USA)
Stick It to Ya

Too underrated, go listen to it
13Alice Cooper
Trash

The best from the glam era, don't know if the lyrics were supposed to be romantic, well they are pretty creepy instead.
12Van Halen
1984

Hot for teacher could have the best drum intro ever
11D-A-D
Riskin' It All

Southern rock with glam and country influence and a bit of AC/DC
10Guns N' Roses
Appetite for Destruction

While i think GnR are one of the most overrated bands ever and as much i despise Axl i have to admit their debut is objectively great. To the average Gnr fan: believe it or not, there are more than 3 songs on this.
9White Lion
Pride

Some tracks are pretty deep, these guys knows how to play
8Crashdiet
Rest In Sleaze

Young talented guys, RIP Dave.
7W.A.S.P.
W.A.S.P.

Gritty and controversial, this is how glam was supposed to be
6Whitesnake
Whitesnake

Pure '80, straight for the heart is unbelievable
5Twisted Sister
Stay Hungry

Even Glan haters loves this one
4Def Leppard
Hysteria

Yes, i prefer this one to Pyromania, every song is great and it's the pure representation of glam
3Skid Row
Slave to the Grind

Closer to heavy metal than glam, Bach was an hell of a vocalist, as much i love heavy tracks "quicksand jesus" may be my favorite on the album
2Steel Panther
Feel the Steel

Yes, i love it THAT MUCH, the lyrics are stupid, hilarious, sexist and vulgar, but unlike most of glam metal lyrics, it's on purpose! The musicianship is awesome and Starr is a great vocalist, love the featurings too
1Motley Crue
Dr. Feelgood

My favorite glam album ever, kickstart my heart is imo the best hair metal track ever, the heavy guitar sound makes this album even better
