Result of Week 3 of the DiscoRuns. I had a very fun time with the first album and since I'm doing the runs chronologically, I had no idea that the songs I had heard (from the later albums) were of a very different quality than their earlier work. This is a sweet one. At a minute and a half, you can feel that Mel-Banana really took their time to build upon the momentum of the melodies. The guitar licks form a tapastry that get complemented by the intricate drum patterns and the dichotomy of those two on the one hand and the off-timing vocal delivery serve to create a cacophony off.... Fuck this. |
