09.09.19 | i'll give this a go you spoony bard! | DungeonBoy
09.09.19 | wow man, this is great. It might not be my preferred genre, but the guitarwork, songwriting, production is all excellent! Your vocals sound great, you can clearly sing very well and don't rely on noticable amounts of auto-tune, which keeps it very real sounding. I dig it. The drumming is solid too, tell Twan he did a primo job. | Ecnalzen
09.09.19 | Lower Definition, you say?
I am interested in this. | tellah
09.09.19 | @DungeonBoy thank you for the kind words! Hopefully more to come next year :) | Ecnalzen
09.09.19 | I really like the first song. Lost me a bit on the other two, but more listens may be required.
Def interested to hear more from you! | tellah
09.09.19 | @Ecnalzen glad you enjoyed it! The first track is the newest of the three. | Ecnalzen
09.10.19 | Gonna listen more, but I think about the only thing that kinda irked me about the other two tracks were the somewhat more prevalent gang style shouty vocals. Seemed a bit overused, maybe? I don't know yet.
For example, I really enjoyed Nimbus Avenue but once the last minute thirty comes up and that vocal style is front and center, I kind of fall out of the song. I thought they were effectively used in Reconditioning, kind of scattered thru the song and more of a backing style instead of at the front.
Musically, everything is really tight and complements each other, and I enjoy your normal/clean singing voice, too. I like what you are going for. I hope you keep making music! | GreyShadow
09.11.19 | ooo, i'll check the next two a bit later but the first track definitely has me hooked! great vocals and sick riffs | tellah
09.11.19 | god damnit accidentally deleted my comment. @ecnalzen Thank you for the feedback. The gang vocal prevalence is definitely a valid point to bring up. Since this was my first project singing lead for there was a learning curve in "picking my spots" so to speak. The goal for the next project is to have a better flow of vocal styles. Also I want to have more purely instrumental passages. | iglu
09.11.19 | Idk I liked the chanty parts
reminded me a bit of dgd
only thing I didn't like was the album art but that's just me

09.11.19 | @GreyShadow glad you enjoy :)
@iglu fair enough, thanks for the rating! There'll still be shouty stuff, it'll just be a bit more scattered instead of continuous. |
