03.15.20 | Observer any ones in particular I should see in both your list and the RYM list? |
garas
03.15.20 | So, none of my recs made it to the list. 'kay. |
rellik009
03.15.20 | woops sorry garas I was focused on getting EVERY SINGLE park rec before the others

I still have my other rec-based lists to fully listen to though |
rellik009
03.15.20 | you boys got any (other) breakbeat recs? Machine Girl has made me super interested in it |
parksungjoon
03.15.20 | i have not heard machine girl yet, can you link a song so i can get an idea of what sound/style you're looking for? |
rellik009
03.15.20 | listen to: Blood Magic, Bitten Twice, and Frenesi
they're good representatives of their sound(maybe others will disagree). Because I'm Young and Gemini are full albums which represent their diversity well |
parksungjoon
03.15.20 | ill check em after this album and report back to you
im only asking because breakbeat used to mean a fairly specific thing back in the 90s (which is what im most familiar with), and im not entirely sure what a modern act under that tag might sound like |
parksungjoon
03.15.20 | 1st off thats some interesting shit, gonna have to check it more in depth soon
2nd off, as i feared its not the kind of sound im super familiar with, but ill try my best at some recs based on what i know
sewerslvt and goreshit seem closest to what you're looking for, although the former has some more chill albums as well
if you dont mind something slower, you could try lords of acid's first couple albums
if you dont mind something harder, you could try atari teenage riot's first couple albums
hope this helps! |
parksungjoon
03.15.20 | also current value has some fuckin nutty dnb tunes that might be up your alley. check beyond digits and 2012 the day of silence in particular, iirc |
parksungjoon
03.15.20 | oh yea i just remembered alec empire (from atari teenage riot) has some solo albums as well.
try his debut and the destroyer |
parksungjoon
03.15.20 | you know what i gotta give you props for the question, really jogged my memory and reminded me of a whole bunch of shit i need to jam again or check out
haha |
rellik009
03.15.20 | okeydokey thanks a lot park! |
