| Album Endings That Really Dissapointed.
I hate it when albums have "hidden tracks" which are really just 5+ minutes of silence, and then a joke song. All of these albums are really good, but the ending just blew. | 1 | | Between the Buried and Me The Silent Circus
The wait at the end is bad enough, but then the bonus song is just weird. | 2 | | United Nations United Nations
I'm not sure what they were trying to prove with Cha-Ching! but it's pretty annoying. 13 minutes of silence, and then a cash register sound. | 3 | | Unearth The March
The last track starts out with a song, has a few minutes of STATIC (worse than silence), and then a second song. | 4 | | Bang Camaro Bang Camaro II
I bought this last night at one of their shows, and got the special edition. It had a 'bonus' song at the end titled 'untitled' and consists of 6 seconds of silence. The second to last song has an awesome song in the beginning, and then follows with the annoying trend of more silence, then a 30 second song. And then more silence. | 5 | | Dillinger Escape Plan Calculating Infinity
Variations on a Cocktail Dress starts out nice and mean, stops 2 minutes in, has silence for 4 1/2 minutes, and then plays (grating) samples for the remainder. It builds suspense, and fits with their style, but doesn't sit well with me. | 6 | | Mastodon Blood Mountain
Another great album that just ends with 18 minutes of silence, only to be broken by Josh Homme giving us a message. Awesome. | 7 | | Coheed and Cambria Good Apollo...No World For Tomorrow
Its the ending of the saga, and I suppose is a fitting ending, but it sounds like a rejected Elton John song. That, and compared to The Final Cut, the solo isn't that great either. | 8 | | Rodrigo Y Gabriela Rodrigo Y Gabriela
The last two songs on here feel like lesser versions of the songs in the beginning of the CD. Coming out of the two covers Stairway and Orion, more of the same isn't exactly what I wanted to hear. | 9 | | Tera Melos Tera Melos
The first half of the record is genius, and really shows what the band is capable of in the future. The last 30 minute track is just noise, and I've never been able to listen to the entire thing. | 10 | | Protest the Hero Fortress
Kezia had an absolutely beautiful ending with an acoustic guitar solo. Fortress ends with what seems like the beginning of a climax, only to be cut short in the middle of a measure. I guess it's part of the point they're making in the song, but they could have done it more smoothly. | |

11.24.08 | You couldn't fail more for saying that Man Land is a bad song. It is a work of artistic genius, my confused friend. | SwallowARazor
11.24.08 | Man Land? | willfellmarsy
11.24.08 | i thought's 10's was better than kezia's, but both are lame...i like 7 and really like 1 | marksellsuswallets
11.24.08 | The song at the end of The Need For Repetition...and yeah its artistic genius open your eyes dude...
WAAAM A MAAAYUUUUN | NortherlyNanook
11.24.08 | I don't know why, but I actually enjoy 9's ending if I'm in the right mood. I agree with the list description, though I only like some of the albums. | Thor
11.24.08 | Man Land = the bonus song at the end of The Silent Circus. It rules. | Athom

11.24.08 | Yeah I agree with you completely on 5 and 9, and 6 i guess would but I got that off itunes so Pendulous Threads is only like 5 minutes long :D I don't think 1 is that great of a song anyway, i skip it a lot. 3 bugs me a little bit that it wasnt split into two separate tracks, but they're both really good songs. 10 doesnt bother me. | SwallowARazor
11.24.08 | Naw, the end of The Need For Repetition was just obnoxious. | ninjuice
11.24.08 | idk about the rest of the song but the last 10-20 seconds of Goddess Gagged are one of the best moments of the album. It's better than the ending of Kezia too - Plateful of Our Dead is probably the weakest song on that album.

11.24.08 | YOURE NOT A GODDAMN WOMAN ARE YA | Mendigo
11.24.08 | for me United Nations is over after the General Figment song. and that's one of the greatest closers ever. |
