09.09.21 | Nice, I had a feeling that even though some of these albums might be the most well-known by the artist's here in their careers, and even amongst their genres (I tried to go for an assortment), I actually wasn't expecting many to have all that many fives of their own from the whole pool (but it's great you do!). To me there's a sort of delineation with fives where it can go one of two ways: a five because it's closest to perfection, or a five (classic) because of the timelessness and showcase of the genre. The ones I picked out here I tend to see in the eyes of the latter, but never hit that spot of perfection that I get when I hard 5 something. I guess one is more subjective than the other, by my juxtaposition, but I always found it funny I withhold my finger on the button, with records such as these. |
