Oddly, I think this would actually work if the lead singer was ressurected. It would be awesomely experimental, with sweet three part harmonies, I mean come on, the vocals would all gel together awesomely.

Add some backing vocals and three part harmonies, then during the instrumental bridge section some crazy-ass guitaring to build the song up, maybe throw a bit of piano in.
