The Brave Curators of Genericore

I have an interesting idea. I want to compile a list of early post hardcore/metalcore bands that gave zero f*cks and made strange music for the love of it. Albums that would shape the genre of late 00s metalcore, scene and or 'genericore' before there was a strict precedent and became ad nauseam. Back when they couldn't get a break from traditional punk or metal purists collectively shitted on them for making music outside of the traditional confines. These albums are very dysfunctional, underdeveloped, and fragmented:
1Underoath
The Changing of Times
2Thebleedingalarm
Beauty in Destruction
3The Devil Wears Prada
Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord
4Emarosa
This Is Your Way Out
5Attack Attack!
Someday Came Suddenly
6A Bullet for Pretty Boy
Beauty In The Eyes Of The Beholder
7A Skylit Drive
She Watched the Sky
8Oceana
The Tide
9in fear and faith
voyage
10blessthefall
blessthefall

Hahaha this is a golden example of what I'm talking about. I remember seeing one star reviews on this CD on ebay (I imagine you can still see them) people irate and confused out of their minds of literally hearing the this genre of music for the first time.
11Fear Before
The Always Open Mouth
12Sky Eats Airplane
Everything Perfect on the Wrong Day
13Iwrestledabearonce

14Enter Shikari
Take to the Skies
