02.29.24 | Never heard anything like this before but it's so fucking amazing |
BAT
03.01.24 | reminds me of 90s-00s crusty powerviolence but with a more melodic pop-punk sensibility to it. cool blend that sets it apart but for some starter pv stuff : charles bronson - youth attack, crossed out - self titled, dropdead - 1st self titled, infest - no mans slave, annd hatred surge - deconstruct. |

03.01.24 | Thanks for the recs, but sadly nothing has really the same vibe as Think Again. I really enjoyed Infest and Charles Bronson tho! |
SomeCallMeTim
03.01.24 | don't have any rec's but this is a neat album so thanks for that |

03.02.24 | First time hearing this band and it fuckin rocks! Brings me back to my early days getting into hc
I would recommend checking out: Mental, Paint It Black, Tear It Up, Hard Stripes if you dig these guys. Paint it black is more melodic hc while the others fall into this more "fastcore" type sound like Think Again |

03.02.24 | Thanks for the recs, checking out Mental right now! |

03.03.24 | Sadly none of those recs is giving me the same vibes as Think Again. :/ |

03.03.24 | I forgot all about this record, thanks for the reminder. I wouldn't really call this powerviolence or fastcore, just uptempo hardcore punk. It doesn't have the full on blast beat sections of fastcore or the blast beat/slow riff dynamic of pv. But no need to split hairs. Anyways, check out Desesparacion by Needles, maybe? Life is Vile, and So Are We by Culo too! Dying Breed by Cadaver Dog is a personal favorite, but it may not scratch the exact same itch. |

03.04.24 | If you want the exact genre, it's a Japanese subgenre called Burning Spirits. It's essentially j-crust with an emphasis on motivational, uplifting messaging and with an increased emphasis on melody. There are lists on Rate Your Music. |
