| Gigs I went to in 2024
I've been to so many shows at this point that I'm starting to get them confused. May as well start tracking them. | 1 | | blink-182 One More Time
blink-182 in February. Rise Against were supporting, but I missed their set. | 2 | | Russian Circles Gnosis
Supports were Tangled Thoughts of Leaving, Treebeard, Myriad Drone. For whatever reason, I had a much better time than the time before that I saw them, when I found it boring af | 3 | | In Flames Foregone
with Kreator. Wild night. | 4 | | Sungazer Perihelion
Plini + Sungazer + Jakub Zytecki. I actually ended up skipping Plini because I'd seen him before and was tired as fuck, but Sungazer was incredible. Jakub Zytecki opening, was a great show.
I grabbed a copy of Handmade Cities on vinyl, and a CD of Jakub's newest album. Shame the latter is mixed so weird, I really enjoyed his set. | 5 | | Codeine Dessau
Tonight, with a Broken Sail and some band called Garage Sale. They're actually played two shows, one all ages one at around mid-day with World Sick, a stupid good emo/shoegaze band. Wish I could swap openers.
Update: World Sick opened. Excellent. | |

03.13.24 | Did you enjoy Russian Circles this time? How were they? | wildinferno2010
04.13.24 | Yeah, they were great. I prepared this time by going through their discog and spending more time watching Mike Turncrantz, and it was a lot more fun than the first time I saw them. That time I hadn't listened to them much at all, and all the songs sounded the same. Felt like it went on forever | wildinferno2010
04.13.24 | *Dave Turncrantz, whoops |
