04.15.24 | By underrated, I mean only on this website. This is meant to bring the metalheads and moshers together m/ |
Ryus
04.15.24 | 11 is so damn good which of these should i check if i dig that? |
jrlikestodance
04.15.24 | @Ryus check Bird of Ill Omen or Kiss It Goodbye. Bird record is a Floridian cult classic and more traditional while Kiss It Goodbye has members of Deadguy and is a little more mathcore leaning |
Sabrutin
04.15.24 | yep gotta check a lot of these

04.15.24 | great list. 7 is unironically one of my favourite album covers of all time. we need to bring back that surrealist ms paint vibe to modern hardcore/metal albums. |

04.15.24 | I just got a Hatebreed shirt using that VOD art which was leftover from their Long Island shows. One of my fav recent merch pick ups |

04.15.24 | "blood has been shed noice"
Always loved the opener to that album, the rest if it... not so much. |
jrlikestodance
04.15.24 | Blood Has Been Shed has the perfect balance of mathiness, moshiness and melody. I def can see why others may not like it as its not the most original. Added Foundation as they are the best 90s metalcore worship band in modern times. |
jrlikestodance
04.15.24 | Added Indecision and One King Down. Forgot how much they rip |
Futures
04.15.24 | i recently jammed arkangel for stuff in this style. really good stuff. |

05.19.24 | 10 (and their choke ep) is in my opinion some of the best and most overlooked metalcore
woefully low monthly listeners on spotify |
jrlikestodance
05.19.24 | Thanks Mort! I agree Kiss It Goodbye are too underrated, just as good as Deadguy were imo. I'm also realizing I forgot Damnation AD on here! |
Emim
05.19.24 | Check
Still Breathing - September
Wrench in the Works - Decrease / Increase |
jrlikestodance
05.19.24 | Damn Emim, this Still Breathing record hits hard, amazing rec! Will post some more thoughts once I finish the record and listen to Wrench in the Works |
Emim
05.20.24 | Nice, curious your thoughts on the other one too |

05.20.24 | Still Breathing record rocked! A lot of Turmoil/VOD/Buried Alive worship but I really dug it. Hard ass groovy riffs are good for the soul. Not sure I've heard female Vox over old school core in that vein other than WoJ which was refreshing. Exactly what I'm looking for and definitely something I will be revisiting - 4.1/5
Wrench in the Works was pretty sick as well. Are these guys Christian? Feeling it in the lyrics. Vocalist reminds me a lot of the singer from Nights Like These. Reminds me of their style mixed with some more melodic core for some good contrast. Very dope - 3.8/5

@bellovdd Hell yea, 18V are super underrated by the new gen. |
Emim
05.20.24 | Nice, glad you liked both the recs. I'm pretty sure both are Christian bands iirc, Wrench in the Works for sure |
