Music & Movie connections

I often find it helpful to draw connections between the characters or themes in a movie, game or TV show and a particular music album.
1Knocked Loose
You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To

Connection: "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes"

Most recent instance of this. Recently, I rewatched "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" after seeing "Kingdom" in theatres. I realized that Knocked Loose's music perfectly aligns with the character of Koba in "Dawn". Koba is a bloodthirsty, animalistic ape who wants nothing more than to see humans suffer in cages. Both the album and the movie share a tribal theme, which adds another layer of connection between these two mediums. In essence, this album serves as the most fitting soundtrack to "Dawn" that I have come across. Every time I listen to it, I am reminded of the movie and the character of Koba.
2Humanity's Last Breath
Ashen

Connection: "Attack on Titan"

Spoilers: In the last season of the show, the protagonist Eren wishes for nothing but the complete destruction of the world. The apocalyptic soundtrack of Ashen complements this narrative perfectly. Furthermore, the grand scale of the titans in the show aligns perfectly with the album, especially when the colossal titan's explosive transformation occurs. The overall atmosphere of Ashen fits seamlessly with these scenes.
3The Contortionist
Language

Connection: "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith"

There is a scene in the movie where the main character, Anakin, looks across the city of Coruscant. There is a particular synth that fits perfectly with the album Language. Additionally, Language has many science fiction themes, and I am able to draw connections between it and other sci-fi movies.
4Between the Buried and Me
The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues

Connection: "Alien"

The sci-fi music duology called "Parallax" by BTBAM I findĀ  reminiscent of the world created in the "Alien" franchise. Nothing particularly detailed here, just feel that the two share a similar essence.
5Fallujah
Dreamless

Connection: "Kingdom Hearts"

The album art resembles the realm of darkness from the KH franchise. Its theme revolves around the contrast between light and dark elements, which is similar to KH.
6Slipknot
Slipknot

Connection: "Saw"

I've felt this connection since I was young. Both share horror-like themes and a murky aesthetic.
7Rolo Tomassi
Time Will Die And Love Will Bury It

Connection: "The Lovely Bones"

This movie is based on a horrifying true story about a girl who was raped, killed and her remains were stored in a box. After her death, she goes to the afterlife and sees her loved ones dealing with her passing. The album conveys a similar bittersweet feeling to the movie. While the movie is quite disturbing, it is also oddly comforting.
