Top 15 Albums O' Mine (the Genericness!)
Title says it all |
1 | | Symphony X V: The New Mythology Suite
My all-time favorite album. Awesome concept, perfectly executed. No bad songs here at all. This album is a sheer representation of what perfection is supposed to be. Or maybe I'm just too much of a fanboy. |
2 | | Rage Against The Machine The Battle of Los Angeles
Testify, Guerilla Radio, Sleep Now in the Fire, War Within a Breath. 'Nuff said. |
3 | | Scar Symmetry Pitch Black Progress
Melody, a cool vocalist, breakneck riffing and awesome solos? Yez plz. |
4 | | Slayer Seasons In The Abyss
SLAYER \M/
Their best, IMO. Too damn awesome it is. |
5 | | Morbid Angel Covenant
God Of Emptiness and Angel of Disease are the embodiment of badass. The rest of songs don't disappoint, either. |
6 | | Kamelot The Black Halo
Because, I swear, the day they can top this album the economy will recover, violence in the world will stop, all will become perfect. For srs. |
7 | | Ihsahn The Adversary
It's just too damn awesome. Called By The Fire kicks so much ass it's not even funny. |
8 | | Alice in Chains Dirt
IF. I. WOULD. COULD. YOU?
This album is awesome from begging to end, only song close to boring is Sickman. And I said close. |
9 | | Down NOLA
Hell yeah, hail the leaf ****ers. This album has Phil at his best, and instrumentally it kicks major ass. |
10 | | Cannibal Corpse Evisceration Plague
Had this from the very moment it was out since I found it for download in a blog, for the first time I've been so compelled to listen to an album of theirs. Must've listened to it at least 10x times, if my count is right. Enjoyable from beginning to end, something that is hard to say with other of their albums that aren't KILL. |
11 | | Dark Tranquillity Fiction
Some of the best Melodeath has to offer, IMO. Nothing To No One is easily the best album opener of 2007. |
12 | | Children of Bodom Are You Dead Yet?
Every damn song is cool. From the cool intro to Living Dead Beat to the last second of We're Not Gonna Fall, it's an experience of pure w1n and awesome. |
13 | | Dissection Storm of the Light's Bane
All I can say is.. Wow, this album is melodic black metal kickassery. Even though the title track of Somberlain is their best song (IMO), this album is comprised of only excellent songs. |
14 | | Death The Sound of Perseverance
WHY DID CHUCK HAVE TO DIE? WHY?! ;_;
O well, the last album he made with Death shall always be remembered for being a ****in' masterpiece. |
15 | | Therion Lemuria
Great symphonic metal album this is. Just listen to Typhon and from that moment the greatness starts and does not stop at all. |
