Fortress

Colours

Masters Of Reality
A classic Sabbath album and the first with drop c tuning. It builds on the sound established on Sabbath and Paranoid, but creates something completely new in the process. By no means a perfect album, but the strength of classics such as Sweet Leaf make it an enjoyable listen. | | 4 |  | Sentenced
Amok
Wild card. The production on this album lets it down, but the Bodom-esque mix of sharp vocals, death metal and rock and roll still afford an enjoyable, if somewhat strained listen. | | 5 |  | Dimension Zero
He Who Shall Not Bleed
If At The Gates and TJR era In Flames spawned offspring, this is surely what it would sound like, although it isnt as good as either. This album is pretty repetitive, but is almost a hint of what A Sense Of Purpose should have been. Certianly a rec for any melodeath fans out there. | |
