Great Metalcore Albums

Here is a list of the scant few albums that will go down in history long after metalcore has been buried in the sands of time. DISCLAIMER: This list does not include mathcore bands such as Converge, Uphill Battle or Dillinger Escape Plan.
1Killswitch Engage
Alive or Just Breathing

The grandaddy of them all.
2God Forbid
Gone Forever

Thrashier than Unearth, heavier than Shadows Fall, better composers than Trivium...and with great choruses, too!
3Trivium
Ascendancy

Not their best album, but certainly their most talked about.
4All That Remains
The Fall of Ideals

The best choruses in the genre.
5Shadows Fall
The War Within

Some say they're not metalcore, but since they helped create the genre, alongside KsE, they certainly belong on this list. This is probably their most famous album.
6Caliban
The Undying Darkness

The distinguished representatives of the European strand. Good choruses and well-constructed songs.
7Lamb of God
Sacrament

As much as I don't like this band, I have to admit they knew how to make a name for themselves.
