Slightlyepic Evolved Into Musical Elitist!

~~~~~~~~~~~~just kidding my taste still sucks. But this is my 'musical evolution' so to speak, what I listened to before and, well, yeah.
1Brand New
The Devil And God Are Raging Inside Me
This is the album that REALLY got me into music. Before this I didn't really listen to anything beyond radio poop. And, well, that was poop. I can't remember how I found this but I remember thinking it's the best album ever. Oh wait, I still think that. Album rules.
2Dance Gavin Dance
Downtown Battle Mountain
So there was this girl I liked and this was her favourite band, so in order to get to know her better I pretended to like it. Then I actually started liking it. Go figure. Took me aaaaages to get used to the screamed vocals though (which are still terrible).
3Anberlin
Cities
Another band the girl got me into, definitely easier to swallow and also still awesome.
4Say Anything
...Is A Real Boy
So yeah, not entirely sure how I came across this but I did and I loved it and it rules and yeah.
5Thrice
Vheissu
So this all led to Thrice and they're the first band with screamed vocals that I could actually get into and liked and everything.
6Bring Me The Horizon
Count Your Blessings
LOLOLOL. Scenester phase. I like to pretend this never happened.
7Fear Before
The Always Open Mouth
My taste gradually got heavier and heavier and also open to more experimental things, like this. I like.
8Converge
Jane Doe
So, of course, I was eventually introduced to Converge and (of course) had trouble listening to them at first. Then they clicked, and now I regularly kill small children listening to them.
9Circle Takes The Square
As The Roots Undo
Cliche, I know, but this is the album that got me into 'real screamo', which I now listen to a copious amount of. Awesome.
10Tragedy
Vengeance
Been fellating over this band recently, so, I guess it's somewhat appropriate to put this here. Started to get into music that didn't have crystal clear production by this point etc. mainly hardcore stuff. Oh shit I forgot to put any post-rock on this list. Oh well, just pretend I put Godspeed You! or Mono or something here instead. Still not a metal fan.
