The Best Band Of The 90's Ranked

Sorry Radiohead, but Pablo Honey is weak, and Pavement released 5 great albums in the time it took you to release 2.
1Pavement
Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain

Pavement's best album. Every song is superb, and some of Malkmus's lyrics actually make sense. Suck it Billy Corgan.
2Pavement
Wowee Zowee

Pavement's "White Album". Malkmus smoked a lot of grass, spanned some genres, and produced a great, disjointed album. Suck it commercial success.
3Pavement
Brighten The Corners

Pavement's most underrated album. Pretty much every song is great (Transport Is Arranged is one of their all-time best), and although it is a much mellower album than any of their prior output to that point, it is still a great listen.
4Pavement
Terror Twilight

Pavement's last album. Also very underrated, as most people only seem to know S+E, or CR,CR. The least abrasive, most reined in Pavement album, but still stellar. It's nice to have one album with the Nigel Godrich sheen.
5Pavement
Slanted and Enchanted

Pavement's first album. No, I did not accidentally rank it last. Yeah, it was groundbreaking, great lo-fi, blablabla. There are some gems on here, but there is no way it should be called their best. Suck it Rolling Stone.
