10.08.09 | Recommend me stuff? Or I mean, do what you want. It's a free world out there. I think. Unless you're a slave. In which case it's not and your life sucks. But assuming you are a slave I highly doubt you would be posting here anyway. Somebody prove me wrong. |

10.08.09 | Props for 3 and 4, although I'm not a big fan of 2 (vocals at least). And yeah, Elliot Smith's voice is pretty much perfect for what he does.
I recommend you continue to listen to these 5 artists. |
Inveigh
10.08.09 | Oh, and you should listen to P.O.S. and Cecil Otter. Fuck it, all of Doomtree. Just because they are awesome. |
BallsToTheWall
10.08.09 | Absurd, Ulver, Bjork, Tearwave, Neurosis, Primordial, and Bathory. |

10.08.09 | Lol at 5. I agree with 4 for sure. I really like that dude from Cave In, Stephen Brodsky(sp?). I'll rec you Racetraitor and Disembodied. |
SlightlyEpic
10.08.09 | Yeah I like the Cave In guy.
As for the recs, Racetraitor are okay, never really got into them. Will check out Dismembodied in a bit. Thanks man. |

10.08.09 | Snöras - Heart of Weakness
Snöras - Plague Waters
awesome one man screamo band I've been into recently.
Archives - Decline (cool post-rock skramz)
Armchairpolitician - Seven Segment Decoder (experimental post-hardcore-ish stuff)
Chiaroscuro - The Desert (sounds a lot like Circle Takes The Square and would be really awesome with decent production)
A Day In Black And White - My Heroes Have Always Killed Cowboys (screamo)
Elitist - Elitist EP (crusty hardcore)
Failures - Failures (really good chaotic hardcore with ex-members from too many bands to name)
Gantz - La Chambre Des Morts (post-rock screamo)
Heaven In Her Arms - Duplex-Coated Obstruction (japanese post-rock screamo)

GBJ
10.08.09 | Glassjaw
Also, check out the receiving end of sirens if you like "singy screamy" vocals, and 3-part harmonies |

10.09.09 | Originally, I HATED Jacob Bannon. Now, every time I listen to a Converge record, I love his vocals more and more and more. Besides, what other voice could go along with the insane music? |
