10.16.09 | skipped over the screamo, but the rest of these were solid recs. I already had most of the post-hardcore but EHRL is pretty solid so far and I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to buy their album Hollow Be My Name. Didn't really care for Taken (After Edmund or whatever); singer is kind of annoying and there wasn't enough complexity to keep me listening.
I'll listen to the metalcore recs some other time. |

10.16.09 | Broadway's debut album, "Kingdoms" was pretty good.
Burden of a Day: "Blessed Be Our Ever After" or "OneOneThousand" you'll love one of those and maybe hate the other one.
Chasing Victory: "Fiends"
if you like Portugal, try any of The Dear Hunter's 3 CDs
He Is Legend is godly if you don't know them already.
Personally, I also REALLY like It Prevails, they're fairly melodic and have passionate (if somewhat generic) lyrics

10.16.09 | I'm sorry, I loved their old singer and kind of hate the new one. I've tried so hard to give the new CD a chance. I prefer Blessed Be Our Ever After and the demo versions of Sly Foxes and One One Thousand. :/ |
