Maybe I forgot something, whatever.
1Alice in Chains
Black Gives Way to Blue

Suprisingly great album. Almost sounds identical to old AIC in parts. It doesn't have the consistency of their earlier stuff, but this is still the best shit I've heard all year.
2Propagandhi
Supporting Caste
3Brand New
Daisy

Well, it's not like they're going to top TDAG, but this still a good album. A fair bit of screaming in this too, which was a bit weird I guess. Bottom line is this lacked, Jesse Lacey-wise.
4 BATS
Red In Tooth & Claw
5Giant Squid
The Ichthyologist

Has a kind of avant-garde-ish sound to it. Proved to be a worthwhile listen, though the production quality sorta sucks. Vocals get annoying after some point.
6Eleventh He Reaches London
Hollow Be My Name
7Mastodon
Crack the Skye

Overrated and boring. A lot of people seem to be complaining about the lyrics, but I see no reason. They've always been stupid. Always. The thing I had the biggest problem with was the vocals. Such as the yelling "Letting go" over and over in "Quintessence". That was stupid.
8Converge
Axe to Fall
9Them Crooked Vultures
Them Crooked Vultures

Payed attention to this on YouTube before release, and it looked very promising, especially the lineup. But it wasn't.
10The Lonely Island
Incredibad

HIP HOP ALBUM OF THE YEAR
11dredg
The Pariah, the Parrot, the Delusion

I shouldn't even list this. This band really seems like there is potential. They just need to throw out the overwhelmingly cheap pop element. Very cocksucker lyrics such as the ones in "Ireland" really ruin this album. Really retarded and cool at the same time, a fucking paradox.
