01.15.10 | Welcome to the site! All of the albums you listed are pretty mainstream in their genres, this site should give you a ton of bands outside of the mainstream you should love.
For 1 and 2, I'd recommend Fortress by Protest The Hero. |

Protest the Hero - Kezia (1 and 2 sounding but better)
Strung Out - Agents of the Underground (punkish/metalish)
Against Me! - Reinventing Axl Rose or New Wave (punk)
Between the Buried and Me - Colors (metal)
too tired to think of anything else. |

01.15.10 | Welcome, you have some good albums on here and some bad ones. There aren't any off-the-wall horrible, so I think you'll do fairly well here. As for recs,
Propagandhi - Supporting Caste [You seem to have quite a few punk/pop-punk albums on here, and these guys make awesome punk music... so...]
Bomb the Music Industry! - Scrambles [A fun punk band that has a lot of ska mixed in. I feel that this is enjoyable for almost anyone who likes energetic, catchy music. (and that's about everyone who lives on the planet earth.)]
Just remember, whatever people say here, it's (usually) all in good fun. Don't purposefully piss anyone off and you're assured a good time (as well as finding out about MANY great bands.) |
ThePalestMexican
01.15.10 | Welcome, trust me, you're getting a warmer reception then I did (i put Emmure on my first list...), but it's still a good site, it'll definitely expand your discography.
This site helped me expand my tastes to Post-Music, some Alternative, and some Hip-Hop.
Also there are some nice peoples here, and you'll learn who they are in no time. Though it seems like a lot of them have already taken a visit.
Side-note: Become good friends with TRMshadow here, his recs are always top notch. =) (no ass kissing intended) |
