Favorite Death Vocalists
My favorite death vocals. I like them because they are different and not because they are the best. If you have any suggestions of some cool and different death vocals I'd be happy to check them out. |
1 | | The Black Dahlia Murder Nocturnal
High highs and low lows. My favourite vocalist specifically because of highs. I'd say Nocturnal has the cleanest vocals of all the albums. |
2 | | Lamb of God Ashes of The Wake
Never in my life have I heard a lead singer that sounds so angry. Really pumps me up. Ashes of the wake is the best example. New American Gospel has very ametuer vocals. As The Palaces Burn has good vocals but they are not very clean. Sacrament and Wrath have to much experimental vocals that turn me off. I found Ashes of The Wake my favourite because they have angry clean vocals. |
3 | | All Shall Perish The Price of Existence
Overall awsome vocals. I especially like how quickly the vocalist switches from highs to lows. This guy has a massive range in pitch especially in The Price of Existance. I do like the power metal screams in Awaken The Dreamers but I found the rest of the vocals flatter. |
4 | | Cynic Focus
The vocals in this album are very rough around the edges but I like them. The electronic vocals arn't as good as they are in Traced In Air but the death vocals are much better in focus and thats why I chose this one. |
5 | | Salt The Wound Carnal Repercussions
The vocals are moderate but the pig squeals.... or whatever you call them, are epic. Something I haven't heard done this well. I still haven't heard they're new album though so I'll have to check that out. |
6 | | At The Gates Slaughter of The Soul
I know these guys don't have a very unique vocalist but I very much like how he delivers. |
7 | | Disarmonia Mundi The Isolation Game
I had trouble choosing between this and Mind Tricks. I know, there are three singers. Not Bjorn or the other guy. The main lead signer who sings most of the songs. I like his malevolent sounding voice. It has a stark sounding voice I would compare to the ripping of fabric and it sounds really cool. |
8 | | Dark Tranquillity Fiction
Don't know why I like this guy so much but I like his voice. |
9 | | The Absence Riders of The Plague
Wet vocals is the only way to describe this. I feel like if I was standing infront of him while he was singing I'd have spit all over my face. Luckily I just get to listen to him without getting wet. |
10 | | The End Elementary
Very angry screaming and peaceful singing makes for a very good band. Not to metion good tunes too. They're not as well known, check them out! |
