03.28.10 | I dig Shinedown quite a bit. Don't know why, but they're really tolerable, like 10 Years (might've been the fact that I've seen them in concert).
ButcheredChildren - Because people don't listen to what you listen to. If you talk to the right person, they'll think these artists are the greatest gift to music ever; talk to someone else, they'll think they represent everything that's WRONG with music today. You want an "educated" reason why someone would deem these artists shit? Here's what it boils down to:
They don't like the music they play.
If you expect anything more than that, you're grasping for smoke, because no matter what bullshit reason you might here about it all sounding the same, or the lack of technicality, or the fact that it's popular, that's ALWAYS what it boils down to...and in my opinion, that's all that really should matter when it comes to liking or disliking music.

03.28.10 | Yeah, I've seen 3,5,10 live. (Not by choice, they were just before the bands I wanted to see at Rock Fest). I will admit, they all put on a hell of a live show, but I just can't dig their music.
Shinedown is just way to cheesy and sappy.
Godsmack tries way to hard with their testosterone driven music.
