05.04.10 | I hate when the second to last song makes a better ending song than the last song, like with "Too Bright To See, Too Loud To Hear" from 'Lost In the Sound of Separation', or "What A Sight" from Matchbook Romance's 'Voices'.
On this list, I would add "23," "Criminal," "The Canyon Behind Her," "It Ain't Hard To Tell," "About A Burning Fire," "I Am Hollywood" and a million more. LOVE "*fin," though, and "Red Sky" and "The River." |

05.04.10 | I hate it when a song starts at the end of the previous song and there is a 2 second pause between the end of the last song and the current one when it is supposed to be a continuous rhythm. It didn't really bother me in a case like "People's Instinctive Travels & The Paths of Rhythm" where for example, the thing that should be the beginning of "Can I Kick It?" is at the end of "Bonita Applebum". However, when it's like it is on "The Marshall Mathers LP" where the "whatever" that should be on the Steve Berman skit is on "The Way I Am". It creates this awkward pause that lasts a couple of seconds and just sounds bad. The real horrible one is that the Ken Kaniff skit starts on "Marshall Mathers". |

You can do that in iTunes as well, just manually change the end time.
I hate when you get hidden tracks at the start of an album, in the pregap. Don'ty know too many that have them, Rammstein's Reise Reise is one |
bloc
05.05.10 | Didn't know iTunes could do that. But some of the time, I'll end up cutting the track as well as fading out the ending too, depending on the song. |

Yeah, just right click on the song, then go to get info, and one of the tabs will have the manual volume adjustment, eq, and start/stop times.
For instance, the track MX on Around The Dur by the tones is like 30+ minutes long. I import it twice, cut the first one down to 5 minutes, and then start the second import at around 27 minutes. Then when you copy it to your iPod it actually reduces the fule size. Instead of being like 30mb worth of song that you're only listening to a quarter of, it deletes all the cut out stuff, leaving like only 5mb left |
