Red Dead Redemption

just got this game today, very excited. it got a 9.7 on IGN and is overall getting very good reviews. GTA IV was aighht to me this looks a lot better. game of the year anyone? here's my top ten albums of 2010 so far thank you
1Dark Time Sunshine
Vessel

If the 1st 4 tracks (which are all perfect) aren't any indication, perhaps you should dive more into this excellent example of what underground hip-hop should be in this day and age. A surprising AOTY choice that gets better with age and will most likely define my summer driving. this is it folks. 4.5/5
2The Knife
Tomorrow, In A Year

The most divisive album of the year is also the most challenging; sure, the first half of this 2-disc electro-opera seems like setup ambient nonsense to the untrained ear, however many play throughs reveal a nature-driven masterpiece, culminating in one of the year's best song ''Colouring of Pigeons". many many many listens are required. 4.5/5
3The Tallest Man On Earth
The Wild Hunt

'King of Spain's' reign as the song to beat in this near folk classic is too easy as it sticks out like a sore thumb. ''The Wild Hunt'' and ''You're going Back'' are easily as good, in fact the entire album is super quality from start to fin. 4.5/5
4Deftones
Diamond Eyes

Diamond Eyes finds Deftones rolling with the punches, not letting the loss of their bassist to a coma bring them down at all. Diamond Eyes soars, falls, pounds, and explodes in a furious seduction masked with an intense, dreamy atmosphere in that signature 'Tones style we all know and love. Further listens are required. 4.5/5
5Titus Andronicus
The Monitor

anyone who even remotely likes music will surely find something to cherish in the monitor. 4/5
6Flying Lotus
Cosmogramma

the 2nd half of this is just fucking ballin. makes me wanna party on Mars. 4/5
7The Dillinger Escape Plan
Option Paralysis

Awesome stuff, dragged down by some not so awesome stuff. 4/5
8Rosetta
A Determinism of Morality

some of the better post-metal I've heard in a while, Roseta's latest journey twists and turns through temples of fury and forests of light. 4/5
9Alcest
Ecailles De Lune

An improvement in all the right ways, Alcest rulessssss. 4/5
10Immolation
Majesty And Decay

It's Immolation. Plus it's got "A Glorious Epoch" which kills and kills long after the final note dissipates. 3.5/5
