House - Broken

just saw this online and holy shit that could have been a movie definately one of the best show episodes i've seen. i love lydia wooo list is top 10 songs of the year so far recs are coo tanks
10Arcade Fire
Sprawl II

the album is kind of a dud, but this is fantastic on many different levels. you can dance ur butt off to this. word
9Max Richter
Infra 6

it was hard to pick one but this seems to be the most beautiful song on an album with many many beautiful songs. piano perfection.
8Flying Lotus
Do The Astral Plane

this could get any club on Mars bumpin and lord knows there's alot of clubs on Mars
7Menomena
Lunchmeat

this is weirdly and oddly terrific with a catchy as shithole guitar line at the end. give it a go
6The Dillinger Escape Plan
Gold Teeth On A Bum

with an incredible finish, gold teeth is clearly my pick for best DEP song ever (wasn't a big fan to begin with)
5The National
Bloodbuzz Ohio

this was a huge surprise for me how much this song grew. it's actually pretty much perfect everywhere you look and any part of it won't leave your head for a week or two.
4Big Boi
Tangerine

either this or Fo Yo Sorrows could be here, amazing track that sounds like it will stand the test of time.
3letlive.
Muther

It may not be my favorite track on Fake History, but it is undoubtably the best. Half post-hardcore perfection and half epic piano driven extravaganza, Muther reaches a glorious end of amazigness with final screams of "Don't you cry mama we'll, we'll be ok".
2The Knife
Colouring Of Pigeons

the opus of T, IAY is a wonderous display of electro-opera that is artistically challenging and catchy at the same time. Look no further than the incredible percussion work done here, something that any inspiring drummer such as myself would love to listen to over and over again.
1Titus Andronicus
The Battle Of Hampton Roads

whether it be the incredible lyricism or the subtle and beautiful "please don't ever leave" finish, Battle ends The Monitor on the highest mountain top possible. heart wrenching, angry, amazing.
