10.08.10 | When I first heard BTBAM I thought it was incredibly heavy. However, some people would equate them with the softness of a pop punk band.

10.08.10 | " But, what really is the definition of heavy? I feel like it's in the eye of the beholder."
This. Some people think drone is the heaviest ever, some think post-metal, black metal, death metal or grindcore is the heaviest ever. Heavy is subjective after a certain point.
That said, most of these aren't terribly heavy, but that's why he said "got me into heavy music". |
FrostbiteOblivion
10.08.10 | lol nu-metal. pure trash, I can't beleive people actually like that trash. I even know its trash, and I dont like metal in general |
Emim
10.08.10 | There's some awesome nu-metal, dude. |
eternium
10.08.10 | Nu-metal and some of the good mainstream metalcore got me into the heavy stuff. Yes, these are heavy, but you don't listen to enough really heavy music to say that you're into it or at least pinpoint a starting point when you seem to still be at that very same starting point. |
FrostbiteOblivion
10.08.10 | i guess if I have to get into metal for progression into heavier, I guess I'm fine where I am. |
eternium
10.08.10 | You're not fine where you are. Trust me. |
Emim
10.08.10 | Metal pretty much = heavier
Unless you're going to get into drone or grindcore or something. |
FrostbiteOblivion
10.08.10 | You're not fine where you are. Trust me.
